The Da Vinci Code written by Mr. Brown highlights the relationship between Mary Magdalene and Jesus. The book is a very entertaining story, has a well designed drama plot and I am sure everyone, if they choose to, can find their own clues and beliefs.

I believe it is not really relevant to know if Mary Magdalene was married to Jesus or had a child, and we will probably never know for sure. I would have assumed also that if Jesus had a special relationship with Mary Magdalene, it would have been hidden by both Jesus and Mary as they had their spiritual mission on the frontline. So I would, in either, way respect their privacy.

I believe that we can, as compassionate Christians, let other people follow their own interpretation of the bible, letting people reach their own spirituality through different channels.

What it is important is that we have learned through the original and newly discovered gospels that Mary Magdalene was a very special disciple of Jesus. Through her feminine entity, she is probably one of the most hidden Goddess of early christiannity. We can identify her struggles, her wisdom, and through centuries, renew our devotion.
